As one of four key fundraising events for the JLC, Perfect Pairings is a truly unique event. Guests will experience a perfectly paired evening featuring wine, beer and spirit tastings along with food and dessert pairings from some of Chicago’s top restaurants and bars.
Some of this year’s featured food vendors include Bar Lupo, Emilio’s Tapas, Harvest Moon, Hearty Boys Catering, Kerrygold Cheese, KitchenFix, MAD Social, Northern Fork Catering, Solstice Restaurant, The Ogden and more!
Guests will get to enjoy a variety of wines, prosecco and champagne, including tastings by Jam Jar Wines. Spirit tastings will be mixed and served by FEW Sprits (Bourbon and Whiskey) and Deep Eddy (Vodka) and we will be serving up unique craft beers from MillerCoors.
Guests will also get to experience a Kendra Scott pop-up shop, amazing raffle baskets (including vacation packages, sports tickets, restaurant gift cards, gym memberships, a bowling party, cigar education class, jewelry and more), a wine pull (over 50 bottles) and much more. This event raises money to support and to empower at-risk women and children through mentoring, advocacy and education. Help us make a difference in Chicago!
Perfect Pairings is spotlighting our JLC Project: Kids In The Kitchen
Kids in the Kitchen promotes child health and wellness by empowering children and youth to make healthy lifestyle choices, therefore preventing obesity and its associated health risks. The initiative is supported by the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. and its member Leagues including JLC. Children are engaged in the preparation of healthy meals as a means to educate them and their parents regarding nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices. Local community organizations, chefs and nutritionists partner with the JLC and its members to provide lessons and demonstrations related to preparation of healthy meals and snacks.
