The Junior League of Chicago has boldly impacted our community for 111 years through well-trained volunteers’ effective action and leadership. The women of the JLC come from all backgrounds, united in a common mission of voluntarism – to serve communities and change lives.   

Through collaboration and community engagement, we seek to remove the many barriers to success which limit the ability of disadvantaged children and families to improve themselves and their community. 

Each year, the JLC donates on average 125,000 volunteer hours to community agencies and programs that support child welfare and education. In addition, the JLC raises thousands of dollars each year to fund our eight community projects. For more than a century, the JLC has diligently worked to empower families from historically underinvested communities —especially women and girls—through hands-on mentoring, advocacy, and education. 

When you become a sponsor of the JLC, you are helping support the legacy of the JLC and the community we so proudly call our home. By way of your sponsorship, we can impact a wider range of people, demographics, and issues in the greater Chicago area.
