Thank you for your interest in supporting the mission of the Junior League of Chicago.
The Junior League of Chicago has boldly impacted our community for 110 years through well-trained volunteers’ effective action and leadership. The women of the JLC come from all backgrounds, united in a common mission of voluntarism – to serve communities and change lives.
Through collaboration and community engagement, we seek to remove the many barriers to success which limit the ability of disadvantaged children and families to improve themselves and their community.
Each year, the JLC donates on average 125,000 volunteer hours to community agencies and programs that support child welfare and education. In addition, the JLC raises thousands of dollars each year to fund our eight community projects. For more than a century, the JLC has diligently worked to empower families from historically underinvested communities —especially women and girls—through hands-on mentoring, advocacy, and education.
When you become a sponsor of the JLC, you are helping support the legacy of the JLC and the community we so proudly call our home. By way of your sponsorship, we can impact a wider range of people, demographics, and issues in the greater Chicago area. Simply put, your sponsorship can change the trajectory of lives for the better.
Event Sponsorship Packages
110th Anniversary Gala Sponsorship
The Junior League of Chicago hosts three signature events throughout the year to raise funds to support our mission. The Annual Gala is our largest and most prestigious event of the year and generates a significant portion of our revenue. This black tie event attracts over 300 guests for a fabulous evening including a seated meal, full evening program, paddle raise, and silent auction.
This year’s Gala will be held on Saturday, February 25, at The Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park and will celebrate our community partner Las Chicas. In Fall 2021, our Teen Mentoring community project began a new collaboration with Cristo Rey Jesuit High School’s Las Chicas group. Las Chicas is open to all teen girls at the school and is committed to inspiring self-confidence, building sisterhood, learning, providing avenues for creating new experiences, and giving back to the community.

General Member Meeting (GMM) Sponsorship
Central to the mission of the Junior League is developing the potential of women to be civic and community leaders. The Junior League of Chicago offers several leadership training opportunities designed to help our members develop their leadership potential and equip them with the tools they need to build a better community here in Chicago.
General Member Meetings (GMM) are a core part of that training curriculum and a cornerstone of the membership experience for our 900+ members across Chicagoland. GMMs are offered quarterly, virtually in the summer and winter, and in-person in the fall and spring and attract between 100-200 attendees.
Leadership Training Sponsorship
The Junior League of Chicago seeks to develop trained volunteers and effective women leaders. Each year the Junior League of Chicago develops and implements a leadership training curriculum that gives women tools they need to be successful leaders in every aspect of their life. Curriculum events include “Navigating Difficult Conversations,” “Leadership Through Influence,” and “Negotiating Basics.”
If you provide leadership training, this sponsorship can include providing a presentation or skills development workshop to our members. Sponsorship may also take the form of a joint training event with Junior League Members and your corporate personnel or invited guests. Leadership training events take place both virtually and/or in-person.
Junior League of Chicago University Sponsorship
The Junior League of Chicago seeks to develop well-rounded women leaders through Junior League of Chicago University (“JLCU”) courses. Each month, the Junior League of Chicago provides learning opportunities on topics ranging from career development, health & wellness, and current events. Prior courses include “Healthy Snacks on a Budget,” “Homebuying 101,” “Finances for New Parents,” “Building Effective Team Dynamics,” and women’s health issues like “Heart Health” and “Breast Cancer Awareness.”
If you provide training or services of interest to our members (real estate, financial planning, investing, career coaching, career management, social media management, meeting planning and facilitation, computer and software skills, public speaking), this sponsorship can include providing a presentation or skills development workshop to our members, directly promoting your business. Sponsorship may also take the form of a joint training event with Junior League Members and your corporate personnel or invited guests. JLCUs take place both virtually and/or in-person.
